Old School Rules–We are “slow food.”

“Communicate managed expections, ” that is what a person just e-mailed about the “long” wait for a friend whom she referred to the Bistro…Unfortunately, her friend come on Sat. during prime time dining hours & had to wait approx. an hour or more for she & her 2 guests entrees…We have a flyer posted on the exterior of the front door to inform people we are not “fast food” like the chains…Also, we state that you may have to wait for entrees at least 45 Minutes to over an hour especially during our peak dining hours…We try every effort to inform our guests that we make every dish to order & don’t use mirco waves… We really try to communicate & manage your expections…yes, our cuisine takes time but our professional kitchen staff takes pride in making fresh, local dishes from scratch…Chef Tim tells me he is a “dying dinosaur” with his style of cooking…We will not apologize for that…However, if you can’t/don’t want to wait for our cuisine, we understand we are not for everyone…We respect your choice…Pls. respect our way of “old school” cooking & the fact it can be around 150 degrees in the kitchen…That tends to slow the kitchen staff down a bit as well…Thank you to those who do appreciate our efforts…You have made us the success we are today!!!

5 to 9:30 p.m.
Friday & Saturday:
5 to 10 p.m.


Tuesday through Thursday:
5 till ?


Sunday through Saturday depending on size of group.
